General App Information:

+ What is Toucan Touch?

Toucan Touch is a Dealer Support System. Toucan Touch is the name of the software which displays information from your inventory feed and perform functions within the application. It can be used to showcase products, build products, and print contracts & warranties.

+ What are the System Requirements for downloading and using Toucan Touch?

Toucan Touch usually requires 50mb of iPad storage space. Currently, the Toucan Touch dealer application is ONLY available on Apple iPad devices (Generation 2 or later). A consumer-facing Toucan Touch iPhone applicaiton is coming soon!

+ How do I view the Version Number of my Toucan Touch app?

On the main screen (home screen), the version is listed in the lower right hand corner of the dealership’s logo.

+ Where do I download Toucan Touch?

The application should be downloaded from the Apple iTunes App Store.

+ How do I Download Toucan Touch?

  1. Follow these steps in order to download Toucan Touch to your iPad:
  2. Navigate to the Apple App Store on your device
  3. Type Toucan Touch in the Search Bar
  4. Locate the Toucan Touch Icon by Jester Communications
  5. Touch the "Download" Icon - This will start the initial download
  6. Close the Apple App Store window to get back to your iPad’s home screen
  7. From your iPad home screen, touch the Toucan Touch icon
  8. Enter your username and password (Phese will be provided in an invitation email or set-up in the AMS - Contact your administrator if you do not have a username and password)
  9. Tap the radio button to agree to the Terms & Conditions
  10. Click "Install"

+ What should I do if my app isn’t working properly?

Please try the following in order to troubleshoot prior to contacting support staff:

  • Check the version on the device against the version listed in the App store. Update to the latest version if necessary
  • Set your iPad to “Auto update”
    • Open the “Settings” module on your iPad
    • Select “iTunes and App Store”
    • Toggle the “Updates” switch to the GREEN Position
  • Delete the application entirely from your iPad and re-download

User Maintenance

Within Toucan Touch there are several types of users each with different permission levels and capabilities within the system. * Owners – Add remove dealerships, add/Remove users, update color schemes, etc.
* Administrators – Add/Remove users, update color schemes, etc. All access except to remove a dealership.
* Managers - Edit users, edit products, add inventory, track and create leads. All access except overall application management.
* Salespeople – Edit products, add inventory, and create leads. No application editing functions.
* Leads – Contacts only; no Toucan Touch access.

+ My username and/or password isn’t working. What do I do?

Address each solution below prior to requesting a new username and/or password:

  • Make sure the dealer has a reliable internet connection at the time of download
  • Copy and paste the username and password directly from the invite email to avoid any mistakes. Sometimes capital “i” looks like lowercase “l”, etc.
  • Delete and re-download the application
  • Use the "Forgot Password" link to recover your password

+ How do I set up a username and/or password for a dealer?

  1. Log into the TOUCAN TOUCH AMS using the credentials necessary
  2. Click the “Accounts” tab at the top of the screen
  3. Click the blue plus sign in the “Accounts” table
  4. Complete the required information fields: Account Name, Email, Username, Password
  5. Select the permission level for the new user under the “Role” area
  6. Click “Enable” to activate the user
  7. If you wish for this person to be contactable via the consumer version of the app, click the “Visible in Consumer?” box
  8. Click “Create”

+ How do I recover a lost password for a dealer?

Follow these steps to reset a password for a dealer. You will utilize the web-based AMS. Make sure you have an internet connection.

  1. Visit the Toucan AMS
  2. Click "Forgot your password?"
  3. Type in the username associated to that account Click the "Reset" Button
  4. Follow the link provided in the recovery email Enter a new password

+ How do I view my profile, change a password and update my information?

  1. Log into the TOUCAN TOUCH AMS (http://ams.dealernetwork.mobi/toucan/#/auth/login) with your login information.
  2. Click the "MAIN" tab at the top of the screen
  3. Select “My Profile” from the drop-down list
  4. This will display a “My Profile” Window where You Should see your information displayed
  5. Change any necessary information
  6. Click "Update"

+ How do I adjust staff user information?

  1. Log into the TOUCAN TOUCH AMS using the credentials necessary to access a particular dealership
  2. Click the “Accounts” tab at the top of the screen
  3. Select “Accounts List”
  4. Select the name of the user you wish to change
  5. Change the information you wish to update
  6. Click “Update” *NOTE - Administrators may adjust both Manager and Salesperson information. Managers may only adjust the Salesperson role, and Salespersons may only adjust their own information.

    • Account oweners may instantly restrict or open access for each individual dealer
    • Account owners may login at any time to view a dealer’s activities within the app

  • Each dealer will access the app through an individual username and password that is setup and can be changed in the AMS

    • Encourage dealers to have their own login vs. using someone else’s

    + What is the AMS?

    AMS stands for Application Management System. This is the browser-based website where users may login and can manipulate content within their specific applications. Depending on the role associated with a login, Administrators, Managers, and Sales staff may access and manage user profile information, contacts, leads, inventories and sales margins.

    + Where do I log into the AMS?

    There is one login page for Toucan Touch. Located at http://qa.dealernetwork.mobi/Toucan Touch. Information displayed after logging in is dependant upon each users’ own login profile.

    Using the AMS:

    + Why is proper data entry so important?

    Proper Data Entry Helps Maintain Consistency. By being sure to put the same data in the same field each time a product is created, it makes for easier application use and product location. Decide in the beginning what data works best in which location and remain consistent.

    + How do I create a new product in the AMS?

    1. Log into the TOUCAN TOUCH AMS using the credentials necessary to access the dealership you wish to add the product to the inventory.
    2. Click the “PRODUCTS” tab at the top of the screen
    3. Click the plus sign located at the top right of the Products table
    4. Click “Edit” below the “General Information” box
    5. Enter Product Details: Name, Price, Brief Description (very short) and Description (Full details)
    6. Click "Enable" to allow the product to be immediately visible
    7. Click "Save"
    8. You will then be brought back to the product list.

    + How do I upload a profile picture (the main image) for a new or existing product in the AMS?

    1. Select the new product by clicking on its name, or by selecting the “Action” button and “View”. Then:
    2. Click on “Profile Picture”
    3. Click “Browse” to locate your file
    4. Click the blue “Upload” button

    + What is a Media Collection?

    A media collection may be a set of photos, videos, floorplans, etc. that will be used as photo gallery photos to showcase a product or product features available. For example: One media collection may be called “Photo Gallery” and contain only photos for a specific product. Another may be titled “Videos” and contain videos for a product.

    + How do I Create a new Media Collection in the AMS?

    1. Select a product by clicking on its name
    2. Click on the “Media Collections” from the list containing: overview, profile picture, media collections, specifications and tags, or help
    3. Select the “New Media Collection” button
    4. You will see a new media collection added to the bottom of the list under the button named “New Media Collection”
    5. Click on the text “New Media Collection” to activate editing
    6. Input the name of the Media Collection
    7. Click on the green check box to save that media collection
    8. Reorder the collection if necessary using the ordering arrows to move the collection up or down in the list
    9. You will also see your new media collection title shown mid-page under the Media Collections box
    10. Click on your new media collection to upload or associate existing media to this collection

    + How do I upload files to a media collection in the AMS?

    1. Select a product, by clicking on its name from the product drop list
    2. Select “Media Collections” from the list
    3. Choose which media collection to populate. For example, if you are adding a photo to the gallery area, select “Gallery” To upload one file only:
    1. Either select “Browse” to search for the file you wish to upload, or drag and drop the file into the “Drop Files Here” box
    2. Click “Upload” and wait for the check mark to appear in the status column
      To upload many files at one time:
    1. Either select “Browse” to search for the files you wish to upload, or drag and drop the files into the “Drop Files Here” box
    2. Click on the “Upload All” button located below the thumbnails of your files

    + How do I remove a piece of media for a particular product in the AMS?

    1. Select a product by clicking on its name
    2. Select the "Media Collection” option from the list
    3. Choose which media collection to edit (where the file you want to change is located)
    4. Search for the file name, or scroll down the list of media within the particular collection to locate the file you wish to edit
    5. Select the "Remove" button next to the media item to be changed
    6. Double check and make sure you really want to remove the file; acknowledge the warning to process

    + What is the purpose of the tags feature?

    The purpose of this feature is provide a common link between products as to make it easier to group and sort them. For example, products may be tagged by brand as to add an easy way to pull all products for a particular brand at once by searching for that “tag” or brand. Tags are used in the filter feature when searching for particular products. This is good way to filter a large list of possible options into a smaller, more easily navigated list based on your criteria.

    + How do I “Tag” a particular product in the AMS?

    1. Select a product by clicking on its name
    2. Select “Specifications and Tags” from the list presented
    3. Scroll down to the “Tags” box
    4. Enter in the tags you wish to use pressing space between each word to activate the tag

    + How do I display a particular product on the home slider bar (the part of the home page that’s a slider with pictures at the bottom in the AMS?

    1. Select a product by clicking on its name
    2. Select “Specifications and Tags” from the list presented
    3. Enter the tag “toucan-home-[#]” to display the image on the slider bar. Enter in a number in place of the “#” symbol to indicate in what order you wish the product to show within the slider. For example, if you wish for the product to be 3rd in the row, enter in “toucan-home-3”. For a product at the first spot, enter in “toucan-home-1”. Enter in numbers from one to 10.
    4. Hit “Enter” or “Return” on your keyboard
    5. Scroll to the top of the page and click “Save” NOTE: If multiple products are tagged with the same slider number, the higher numbered products will not display

    + How do I add specifications a particular product in the AMS?

    1. Select a product by clicking on its name
    2. Select “Specifications and Tags” from the list presented If there are no specifications listed:
      Click on the word “empty” to edit the Type, Title or Value field. For example, to enter in the length of a product such as a boat that is 100 feet long, you would enter Length under “Title”, Feet under “Type”, and 100 under “Value”
    1. Enter in text
    2. Click on the green checkbox to save
    3. Click “Close” to exit edit mode.
    4. Click “Save” at the top of the screen

    If there are specifications already present, and you wish to add a new specification to the list:

    1. Click on “+Add” in the Specifications box to enable edit mode
    2. Edit the fields as noted above by clicking on the word “empty”
    3. Click the green checkbox to save
    4. Click “Close” to exit edit mode.
    5. Click “Save” at the top of the screen

    To edit existing specifications:

    1. Click on the text of the specification you wish to edit
    2. Enter the change
    3. Click the green checkbox to save
    4. Click “Close” to exit edit mode.
    5. Click “Save” at the top of the screen

    + How do I add a lead from the AMS system?

    1. Log into the TOUCAN TOUCH AMS using the credentials necessary to access that particular dealership
    2. Click the Accounts Tab at the Top of the Screen
    3. Select "LEAD LIST” from the dropdown menu
    4. Click on the “+” symbol
    5. Enter lead contact information (name AND email address are required)
    6. Click "Create"

    + How do I edit a Lead’s information or delete a lead from within the AMS system?

    1. Log into the TOUCAN TOUCH AMS using the credentials necessary to access that particular dealership
    2. Click the Accounts Tab at the Top of the Screen
    3. Select "LEAD LIST” from the dropdown menu
    4. Choose the desired lead from the list either by clicking on their name or by clicking on the “View” button
    5. Adjust the information as needed
    6. Click "Update"
    7. To delete a lead, simply select “Delete this Lead” instead of “Update”

    Content Managment from within the Application (on the iPad)

    + How do I create a new product from within the app?

    1. From the home screen, click "New Product" on the right menu.
    2. Enter the name, price, brief description and full description in the corresponding fields
    3. Choose a tag if desired (see above description for TAG functionality)
    4. Click "ENABLE"
    5. Click "Next" to add more media
    6. click "Save" to save any changes
    7. You will be automatically directed to the Photos Media Collection where you can upload photos either directly from the device or from a file
    8. Click “Exit” to leave and discard current input

    + How do I edit an existing product in the app?

    1. Select the desired product by touching its thumbnail image in the Product Gallery
    2. Touch the "edit" button located on the top-left edge of the product menu
    3. Edit any desired information
    4. Click "Next" to add more media
    5. click "Save" just above the left menu (in red) to save changes
    6. Click “Exit” to return to that product’s details

    + How do I add a photo from within the app?

    Toucan Touch allows users to either upload photos from files, from the device or to capture a photo with the iPad. Follow these steps to add photos:

    1. Select the desired product by touching its thumbnail image in the Product Gallery
    2. Touch the "edit" button located on the left edge of the product menu
    3. Select the "PHOTOS" tab
    4. You will either see the “ADD A PHOTO” thumbnail, or you may scroll past existing photos until this thumbnail is visible
    5. Touch the “ADD A PHOTO” thumbnail. This will take you to a new screen where you may enter the title and description of the new image
    6. Touch the “ADD A PHOTO” text itself. A new menu will ask you to select from where you would like to add a photo. to add the photo either from the device gallery images, or choose Camera to take a picture with the device itself
    7. Name the photo and give a description (if desired – the description will appear below the pricing information)
    8. Click "save"
    9. Click "Make Profile" Button at the top right of the Screen if this is the desired image for the main “HERO” image
    10. Repeat this process starting from the ADD A PHOTO Step for each subsequent photo to be added
    11. Click "Next" to add more media
    12. Click "Save" to save any changes
    13. Go back to the menu on the left and click “exit”

    + How do I add a video from within the app?

    1. Select the desired product by touching its thumbnail image in the Product Gallery
    2. Touch the "edit" button located on the left edge of the product menu
    3. Select the "VIDEOS" tab
    4. Touch the “ADD A VIDEO” text or select the "Add" button
    5. Touch the “ADD A VIDEO” text again to add the photo either from the device gallery images, or choose Camera to take a video with the device itself
    6. Name the video and describe it if desired
    7. Click "save"
    8. Repeat this process starting from the ADD A VIDEO Step for each subsequent video to be added
    9. Click "Next" to add more media
    10. Click "Save" to save any changes
    11. Go back to the menu on the left and click “exit”

    + How do I add a floorplan brochure or other media from within the app?

    1. Select the desired product by touching its thumbnail image in the Product Gallery
    2. Touch the "edit" button located on the left edge of the product menu
    3. Select the desired tab under which you would like to add media
    4. Touch the “ADD MEDIA” text or select the "Add" button
    5. Touch the “ADD MEDIA” text again to add the photo either from the device gallery images, files or choose Camera to take a picture with the device itself
    6. Name the media and describe it if desired
    7. Click "save"
    8. Repeat this process starting from the ADD A MEDIA Step for each subsequent piece of media to be added
    9. Click "Next" to add more media
    10. Click "Save" to save any changes
    11. Go back to the menu on the left and click “exit”
      TIP:If you do not have a particular picture, video or PDF in your gallery, or cannot record one at the time, email it to yourself and open/save it on your iPad.

    + How do I edit, change or remove a piece of media for a particular product from within the app?

    1. Select the desired product by touching its thumbnail image in the Product Gallery
    2. Touch the "edit" button located on the left edge of the product menu
    3. Select the desired tab under which you would like to edit media
    4. Find the media to be changed or removed, touch its thumbnail image
    5. Make any desired changes, or touch the "DELETE" button and confirm to remove media
    6. Click "save" to save any changes
    7. Go back to the menu on the left and click “exit”

    + How do I add or edit the specifications of a product from within the application?

    1. Select the desired product by touching its thumbnail image in the Product Gallery
    2. Touch the "edit" button located on the left edge of the product menu
    3. Touch “SPECIFICATIONS” menu on the left
    4. Here you will see the specifications that are set as the default specifications. These defaults are set within the Dealer Profile Section. They can be adjusted and customized. (See the Admin portion of the FAQ Below)
    5. Select the desired title and choose a new name from the drop down list, or select “New title” at the bottom of that list and skip to number 7.
    6. To edit specification values, select the desired “Value” field and then type the new information that is needed
    7. To add a new specification, select “ADD-A-SPEC” to generate additional lines for specs to be entered
    8. Choose a name from the drop down list, or select “new title” at the bottom of that list and type a name as needed
    9. Click "save" to save any changes
    10. Delete specifications by tapping “delete” next to the specification to be deleted
    11. Go back to the menu on the left and click “exit” to end editing
      TIP: Keep in mind, the product search categories can be filtered by any type of spec that lives in the application: make, condition, usage, location, etc.

    + How do I store the apps files for offline use?

    1. While you still have a strong wifi Connection, open Toucan Touch and login as usual
    2. Touch the "Preferences" button
    3. Touch "Offline Files" button
    4. Select “Store All”
    5. Wait for files to download before terminating the wifi connection

    + How do I tag a particular product from within the app?

    1. Select the desired product by touching its thumbnail image in the Product Gallery
    2. Touch the "edit" button located on the left edge of the product menu
    3. In the Tags portion of the product display window, click the "choose" menu
    4. Choose from the dropdown of Current Tags (Recommended, because slight variations in spacing or capitalization will create multiple versions of the same tag), or choose “add-a-tag” at the bottom of the drop down list to make a new tag.
    5. Click "Next" to add more media
    6. Click "save"
    7. Go back to the menu on the left and click “exit” to end editing

    + How do I display a particular product on the “HOME SLIDER BAR” from within the application?

    1. Select the desired product by touching its thumbnail image in the Product Gallery
    2. Touch the "edit" button located on the left edge of the product menu
    3. In the “Tags” portion of the product display window, click the "choose" menu
    4. Select "add‐a‐tag" from the bottom of the drop down menu
    5. Use the TAG “toucan-home‐1” (no quotes) to display the desired image as the first image on the slider bar
    6. Tap the “Save” button located just below the profile picture
    7. Scroll the product menu to the bottom and tap on “Exit” to close product editing NOTE: Adjust the above number to any number (i.e.: “toucan-home-#”) between one and 10 according to the desired slider position. If multiple products are tagged with the same slider number the higher numbered products will not display.

    + Can I bulk upload media from within the app?

    Bulk upload is not supported from within the application. All bulk uploads must be completed via the web-based AMS system. Click here to view how to complete bulk uploads via the AMS system.

    Application Navigation & Usage

    + How do I search for products?

    There are a few different ways to find a particular product or products:

    1. Manual Navigation via the product gallery:
    2. From the product gallery, use the arrows at the bottom of the screen to advance or reverse page views. You may also use the pagination numbers to skip through quickly
      Via the product sort feature menu:
    1. From within the product list gallery, open the left slider menu by tapping the gray tab. Sort the products by any one of the menu display headings (make, style, etc.)
    1. Select the "STARRED" button to display only products that you have previously starred
      Via the search field menu:
    1. Tap on the right side trapezoid. A search field menu will slide in from the right-hand side
    2. Type the text to search by in the search field
    1. Enter a filter to search:
    2. Activate the right-hand side tab. A search field menu will appear
    3. Tap on the “add Filter” button at the top right of this menu
    4. Choose a filter to use to search (you may add more than one filter)
    5. Reset your search fields by tapping the “reset” button at the bottom of the search menu

    Using the Finance Calculator

    + How do I use the Finance Calculator?

    From the home screen, click the 3 line tab (the trapezoid shape) on the bottom of the page. In the pop-up navigation menu tap on “Calculator” in the upper right corner of that menu. NOTE - You do not have to add “$” to the prices.
    NOTE - Any percentages (ie: tax and interest rate) should be entered as a decimal format. For example:
    7% = .07
    2.5% = 0.025

    Alternate route for accessing the calculator while in product view:
    If trying to calculate payments for a particular product, access the calculator by selecting “configure PME” from within the particular product menu

    1. Start by entering the hypothetical price being financed (i.e. 100,000)
    2. Enter any additional features or charges associated with the cost
    3. Enter any applicable discounts or price reductions in the Discounts field
    4. Enter the State Tax rate for wherever you are
    5. Enter the Trade in Value (after calculating the current payoff, this could actually be a negative number)
    6. Enter the projected interest rate for the loan
    7. Enter the term of the loan (in months)
    8. Click “clear” or “close” to either reset the calculator or exit the calculator

    Leads

    + How do I add a lead from within the app?

    1. From the home screen, tap the menu tab at the bottom of the screen.
    2. Press the "LEADS" Button
    3. Touch "Add Contact" in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
    4. Type in the contact information. Name and email address are the only required fields, but should include as much information as possible if available
    5. Touch the "Add image" button if desired (So that you recognize him or her next time they enter the dealership. Make sure you ask them for permission before snapping a picture). You can add from your gallery or take the image with your iPad camera. If there is no image added for a lead, the potential customer’s photo will default to an image with their initials
    6. Click "SAVE LEAD" on the right-hand side of the screen
      TIP - Tap “use lead” on the right hand side to make the contact you created the same contact that will be in the “To” field when you go to email collateral regarding a specific boat

    + How do I edit a lead’s or contact's information?

    1. From the home screen, tap the 3 line tab at the bottom of the screen.
    2. Press the "LEADS" Button
    3. Find and select the thumbnail associated with the lead to be adjusted
    4. Adjust any necessary information
    5. Click "SAVE LEAD"
      TIP - Tap “use lead” on the right hand side to make the contact you created the same contact that will be in the “To” field when you go to email collateral regarding a specific boat

    + How do I delete a lead from within the app?

    1. From the home screen, hit the 3 line tab at the bottom of the screen. From there you will press “LEADS”
    2. Find and select the Thumbnail for the Lead you want to delete
    3. Select the "remove" Button
    4. Confirm to delete

    + How do I email content or an estimate to a lead or prospective customer?

    1. Located the contact’s name within you contact list to which the media is to be sent
    2. Locate the particular piece of media
    3. Touch its thumbnail image to select it
    4. Select the “Share” button at the very bottom right corner
    5. Touch the email or print icon in the popup menu depending on how you wish to share
      Note: In the next update of Toucan Touch, the option to create a lead and share information while viewing a single product image will be added as functionality.

    + Where do I view / send / print contracts and warranties?

    From the main home screen the contracts and warranties sections are located in the right hand menu, under the “New Product” button

    1. Touch either the Contracts or the Warranties Button
    2. Select the desired Contract or Warranty
    3. Select the “Share” button at the very bottom right corner
    4. Touch the email or print icon in the popup menu NOTE: If no contact/lead is selected you will be prompted to add a contact

    Administrator-Level (Owner and/or Manager) FAQ

    NOTE: Administrator‐level actions are generally controlled via the web‐based AMS system.

    + How do I adjust dealer profile information?

    1. Log into the TOUCAN TOUCH AMS using the credentials necessary to access that particular dealership
    2. Select “DEALER CONFIG” from the top navigation bar
    3. Adjust any necessary information
    4. Click "Update"

    + How do I change a dealership’s logo (the image that appears in the bottom left of the footer menu at the bottom of the app)?

    1. Log into the TOUCAN TOUCH AMS using the credentials necessary to access the dealership you wish to edit
    2. Select “DEALER CONFIG” from the top navigation bar
    3. Click the “Assets” tab
    4. Choose “Upload” from under “Replace logo file”
    5. Browse for the file to upload
    6. Click “Upload”
    7. Wait for the checkmark to appear in the “Status” column
    8. Close the upload window

    + What is the “Subhead Field” and how do I change it?

    A. The Subhead field is second text area that displays under the product title in the thumbnail view of the product listing area -this area will default to price automatically

    1. Log into the TOUCAN TOUCH AMS using the credentials necessary to access that particular dealership
    2. Select “DEALER CONFIG” from the top navigation bar
    3. Click the “Configurator” tab
    4. Click text that says “displayPrice” to activate a list of fields to choose from
    5. Select the desired field to display

    Note: These will not be updated very often. The basic media collections available are the Gallery, Videos, and Documents.

    To add a Default Media Collection

    1. Click the "+add" button
    2. A new line will appear with “empty” as the name and “default” as the display

    4. Click on the “default” text to change the display from the default (tap to open and close) to a slideshow (swipe between media). Click the green checkbox to save

    To edit a current Default Media Collection’s title or display

    1. Select the text of the media collection
    2. Update the text and click the green checkbox
    3. Select the display type, choose the new display type and then click the green checkbox to save

    To remove a Default Media Collection

    1. Click on the red “x” icon

    + How do I add or change the Default Specifications listed for products?

    Default Specifications are the headings you will see as the defaults in all products within the specifications list within the app.

    1. Log into the TOUCAN TOUCH AMS using the credentials necessary to access that particular dealership
    2. Select “DEALER CONFIG” from the top navigation bar
    3. Click the “Defaults” tab

    To add a Default Specification

    1. Click the "+add" button
    2. A new line will appear with “empty” as the name and “empty” as the type
    3. Click the “empty” text to name the new default specification, and click the green checkbox to save
    4. Click on the “empty” text to enter in the “Type” of specification. A “Type” in the specification area can be the same name as a filter or sorter so that users who sort by this type can easily find the product they are looking for. Click the green checkbox to save
    • For example, if you were entering the length of a product as a default spec, you would enter:
    • Name: Length, Type: Dimension
    • The actual value of the specification is controlled within the products or their feed

    To edit a current Default Specifications Name or Type

    1. Select the text of the specification to change
    2. Update the text and click the green checkbox
    3. Select the text for “Type”, choose the new display type and then click the green checkbox to save

    To remove a Default Specification

    • Click on the red “x” icon

    + How do I change the default filters (also called sorters) that are seen within the application?

    These are the names of the headings shown in the right-hand menu, available in the products gallery. These fields are used to narrow the list of products displayed. Therefore, filters and sorters should broad or common qualities related to the available products. For example: When used to sell boats, a good set of filters would be price, location, age and length.

    2. Select “DEALER CONFIG” from the top navigation bar
    3. Click the “Defaults” tab
    4. Scroll down to the “Default Sorters” section
    5. To remove a filter/sorter, click on the red “x” icon
    6. To add a new filter/sorter, click on the “+Add” button
    7. Click on the “empty” text to edit and add a new filter. New filters must match a title in a product’s specification list to appear as filters/sorters

    + Is it possible to enable or disable editing from the iPad so that users may not add or edit products from their iPads?

    1. Yes, you may disable product editing/additions from iPads within a dealership. Although not recommended, follow these steps:
    2. Log into the TOUCAN TOUCH AMS using the credentials necessary to access that particular dealership
    3. Select the “Configurator” tab
    4. Click the box in the “Toucan Specific Options” area to either turn editing from the iPad on or off

    + How do I change the custom color scheme of the app?

    NOTE - Determine the desired colors and their corresponding Hex‐Colors in advance. You may use the following website to quickly determine which hex colors your dealership may use: http://www.w3schools.com/tags/ref_colorpicker.asp
